TASSIN was founded in 1905 in Paris and belongs to Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant label (Living Heritage company) since 2006. In its Parisian workshop, TASSIN masters with excellence the ancestral know-how of upholstery, an old technique from XIVth century. The upholstery craftsman uses wood and cardboard supports and covers them with leather. The craftsmen create and refurbish traditional items or furniture items such as desk accessorizes false library, old screens or contemporary items such as bedhead, floor and wall coatings, chairs… TASSIN carries on the art work of gildings on leather such as painting on Cordoba leather thanks to unique collections of ancestral embossing presses (Henri the second & Cordoba leather) and gilding irons.
